The Twitter Traffic Secret Revealed: How Twitter can bring a flood of visitors to your website.

The fact is that Twitter Traffic can generate valuable business contacts with breathtaking ease, not remotely possible using traditional forms of communication where many gatekeepers stand in your way.

These contacts themselves can generate the traffic you need since they are already in touch with your market niche and have ‘pre-filtered’ it for you – such as by a mailing list, or their own Twitter followers and Facebook friends.  This is your short cut to mass distribution, created by the one-to-one starting point on Twitter.

So here’s the deal:  Twitter Traffic and contacts will appear almost miraculously, but only if you use it in a ’social’ sense, and not as a way to ‘mass mail’ a faceless audience.

The bottom line is that for you to to attract highly targeted, high value  ’Twitter traffic’, you must CONNECT by way of real conversation as if you are at a giant cocktail party.  There’s a lot of noise all around you, but if focus is maintained on an immediate connection with one person at a time, the result is more traffic, more trust and ultimately more business and sales.

Hey Jonathan

Nice work as always.

I think Mark Joyner coined a phrase (he may not be the original owner of it but I heard it from him first) or term called zigarnet marketing which twitter automatically does, people see one side of the conversation and want to know whats going on.

Twitter also allows us to meet like minded people unlike the old days of making friends with people because they happen to be on the same rugby team as you.

Anyway great catching up again today over at Jaysons, lets get together for a BBQ, wine or coffee sometime soon.

Cheers

Terry

Hah! You are as sharp as a tack man. Sharp as.

Do you realise that you’ve pinpointed the exact method behind ‘curiosity marketing’ As you say, it was in Mark Joyner’s book ‘Mind Control Marketing’

I’ll wager your copy is as thumbed through as mine.

I just looked it up: “The Zeigarnik Effect” The Power of Unfinished Thoughts “If something is unfinished, it keeps our attention until we can bring closure to it.”

People are VERY curious to know what the ‘end of a story’ is, so I use that structure in each TV show to keep people watching … if I remember LOL

PS. It was a good Tweetup session at Giapos. I laughed at (@TheWineVault) Jayson’s line ‘Putting the Funk back into Wine.” Excellent

Thanks Gianpaolo

True it is re Twitter. I expect the Giapo will become a regular stopping point for Tweeters visiting Auckland. Let’s dub it ‘Twitter Traffic on Gelato’.

Hi Jonathan,

Always great tips and advice from you! Glad to see your tweetup was so much fun and you met new twitter friends in person!

Due to some glitch with some embedded video in my browsers (or with Java – since it is in both Firefox and I.E.) I can’t see any video on your site, but am able to hunt them down on Youtube. I’m grateful I can see them there! :-)

Thanks for always keeping it real and useful!

:-D

In Appreciation,
Amy

Hi Amy

Thanks for feedback on the video glitch. How annoying for you – and me too. I want it to be EASY to see the videos :)

I’ll look into it to see if any adjustments are needed here at the channel.

My best as always
Jonathan

This technique is so simple yet so forgotten by people. Too often i get messages welcoming me when i follow someone and all it contains is a sales pitch. Yes i was guilty of that as i knew no better. Not any more this will be my new twitter strategy from now on. Thanks
