TV INTERVIEW WITH LOIC LE MEUR OF SEESMIC.COM, THE ‘MAESTRO’ OF SOCIAL MEDIA, AND INTERNET VISIONARY.
In this revealing Skype TV interview Loic outlines the REAL solution to successful marketing on Twitter and virtually any other online social media. (Recorded online across the Pacific between New Zealand and San Francisco.)
Loic also reveals where he sees Twitter heading and how it will impact us all, with rich insights on the unprecedented drag race between Twitter and Facebook … and who might win.
Plus, Loic unveils the latest edition of his free software that makes using social media easier: Seesmic Desktop. “The Bloomberg of Social Media.”
STOP PRESS: IF YOU DO NOTHING ELSE TODAY, DOWNLOAD SEESMIC DESKTOP.
Here’s the deal: The nightmare of social media is the confusion of having many browsers open to follow all your different social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
Seesmic has solved this:
Seesmic simplifies the use of social software by displaying it all in one control panel on your desktop. No logins, Seesmic does it all. You can have Twitter and Facebook running alongside each other without ever again needing two browers open.
Bottom line is that Seesmic desktop is free, and requires virtually no skill to download & install on a PC or Mac, and start using. It’s easier to set up than a G-Mail account in my view.
And check this out: The software will now also follow and unfollow other Twitter users. That is a wow factor. And it gets better: You can have several Twitter accounts open at the same time in Seesmic desktop.
Personally I just use it to run Twitter, and it’s a dream. (Although Loic tells me I’ll start using my Facebook account more now since it’s made so easy.) I have 4 columns. One for my Best Friends, one for Direct Messages, one for mentions of me @JonathanGunson and one that shows the Tweets from all the other people I follow on Twitter. These columns automatically update as often as I like, without me lifting a finger.
Here’s the link again: DOWNLOAD SEEMIC DESKTOP.

Best interview I’ve seen to date on subject of twitter! Also watched loic’s interview with Godin & so interesting to learn that loic’s wife was the camera person! Being genuine, ‘real’ IS the key. Found the discussion about ‘real time web’ (I also watched the final half hour of Ashton’s challenge) fascinating and no doubt this is the next progression.
Kisane, Loic sure is a bundle of energy and he gives out so much. I’m planning to go to his Le Web conference in Paris … if I can get there in December
Quoting your Twitter bio … “I coach baby boomers who want to become online attraction marketing business entrepreneurs” Attraction marketing ? No wonder Loics Twitter / Social media interview rings so true for you.

A brilliant interview which provided real value and insight into Twitter and what the future may hold – really liked this one Jonathan.
Have also switched to Seesmic Desktop to see how it works out. It does seem faster than TweetDeck.
