Matt Bacak Shocks the Speaking Community - Episode 66

Internet marketing legend Matt Bacak http://www.mattbacak.com has just announced that he will no longer be partaking in any third-party speaking engagements.

“The Powerful Promoter” has cleared his world wide travelling schedule to devote more time to his family and to the people in his business – Bleeding Edge Innovations.

This is the best decision I have seen this year in the Internet Marketing community.

We all NEED to give time to family and health in order to stay at optimum effectiveness. Bottom line is that obsessive attention to this business, and using 100% of your time to make progress is actually counter productive.

Family is the REASON we are doing all of this, and as we know, the family that plays together stays together.

MORE GOOD NEWS: Matt will be one of many reputable marketers who will soon be taking part in a powerful series of interviews about TRAFFIC at the Traffic Cafe.

This is seriously good advice, a great move by Matt Bacak.

There’s a lesson in there: I spend far too much time floating in front of a glowing screen, and I don’t mean the TV. Lose all track of time.

Off to play with my kids now. :)

    Excellent advice!

I still hope we get that pint of Guiness we spoke about earlier in the year. It may have to be a Budweiser or Coors when I get over to the States next year.

Glad you’ve taken the move to step back a bit. I missed a great deal of time with my kids when they were growing up through work commitments, time I will never, ever get back.

It’s important that we all take stock of our prioritise. I know that by the end of the year I will be adjusting my working practices to ensure more time with my gorgeous wife Susan and my two great “young-adults” Callum and Michaela.

All the very best and please, please don’t disapear out of the limelight all together

    Phil

    Hi Phil
Matt stepping back is the right path for sure.

But there’s an even bigger picture: We need to ask “WHO the heck AM I ? (”What’s for you won’t go by you”… ) If we get to who we are then we begin to win – as long as we ACT on it. Next video covers this.

I think Matt has made the best decision to have time for his famly. A good family is the bedrock of a good society, I salute his courage, we all can borrow a leaf from his action.
