Increase Blog Traffic Substantially by Using This 100% Free ‘Blog Commenting on Steroids’ Method

Desperate To Get Traffic To Your Website or Blog?

In today’s 4 minute TV program I show how to leave comments on other blogs in a way that can increase blog traffic to your own site.  I call it the ‘Blog Commenting on Steroids’ method.  It builds incoming links, is quick to increase blog traffic and establishes an expanding reader foundation for your blog, long term.

Here’s How ‘Blog Commenting on Steroids’ Works

It’s very simple:  This is the method I used to successfully build my first mailing list of 1527 people without using any other method at all.  NOTHING else but blog comments, and it took me 5 weeks without working very hard.

I simply went around all the niche blogs I could find in the internet marketing space and left comments with a link back to my website, every day.

The Four Vital Blog Commenting Hot Points

1. Be one of the FIRST to place a link when the owner posts to his blog. You can win the ‘BE FIRST’ race by using software like Traffic Sponge that instantly notifies you by email and mobile txt the moment a new blog post is made, so that you can rush over and place a comment.   (I LOVE Traffic Sponge – I can beat anyone to new posts.)

2. The blog must updated often – otherwise there won’t be enough new readers to see your comments.

3. Check that there’s already lots of comments on earlier posts on the blog (Another sign there are other plenty of readers to see YOUR comments.)

4. Ensure it’s a high traffic blog – meaning in the top 100,000 sites on Alexa.

Blog Commenting Has 6 Advantages

In essence, blog commenting is the hidden Killer Traffic App to increase blog traffic. Here’s why the results can be far more significant than you might think.

1) Leaving blog comments to increase blog traffic costs … NOTHING.

2) You get a link to your website which is good for your website’s search engine rankings.

3) People who like your comment will click your link and head over to your website directly.

4) Your visitors will be precisely niche-filtered and highly focused on your niche subject.

5) If you leave good comments often enough, you can end up being listed as a regular commentator on many blogs. You will be permanently listed on the home page of that blog as a regular, so that even when no new post is made, the link to your blog is still visible to all who visit.

6) The blog owner may contact you which can lead to being invited to make a guest blog post which is read by the entire readership of that blog, bringing you a sustained rush of traffic.

The bottom line is to start commenting now to increase blog traffic.  And be sure to give good value – it’ll pay off both short and long term.

Hi five folks – Yet another easy to do tip Jonathan thank you – Blogging Comments is great way for link~backs to your site and what you have shared here is very cool – BUT remember folks that is just one of the many practices as Jonathan points out in this blog – I for one got carried away posting comments to build back~links to my sites – forgetting it was just one way to gain SEO indexing – I had to have a word with myself to take stock by adding up my outgoings getting shocked to how much it costs to stay online? – then really starting from the beginning again – suddenly I realized what being online is all about – so my best tip to ad here is – whatever your paying for to be able to work online such as hosting or any tools you have to pay for to be able to work from home online – make this your priority – work towards building an income from whatever services you pay for just to be able to work online – get to the position to make these payments for free by selling your service with the affiliate links that most online services have – don’t move from the first one until you get enough sales to pay for that service by concentrating by promoting one opportunity at a time?

Jonathan,

This is such as easy traffic tactic that I think a lot of people overlook because of it’s simplicity.

When I analyzed my traffic stats for 2009, I found that one of my top 5 sources of traffic was blog commenting; and I hadn’t even started using it until late in the year.

I really enjoy TrafficCafe.tv, keep it going!

Sincerely,

Hi Jonathan

great post as usual… not sure who posted using the Stupidly Simple SEO user name; however, it wasn’t me!

Anyway; your post is another example of what can be achieved using free traffic, providing people are prepared to put the effort in… amazingly; some people think adding a paragraph or so on someone’s blog is “hard work”…

Well must dash, treating Susan to a home cooked meal tonight. She’s hardly seen me over the last few weeks and so I’m taking tonight off ;-)

Have great day/night/morning etc lol

It sits on your desktop and NOTIFIES you when there is new blog post (on as many blogs as you like) so that you can rush over there and be first to comment.

It is called Traffic Sponge. http://bit.ly/Traffic-Sponge-Comments

For John Kremer

Good feedback and great too that you’re finding this resource useful.

I plan to increase the TV and list activity substantially this year. You can’t see it, but the code underlying the Traffic Cafe is being completely rewritten and then updated live. Be ready end of next week. After that, the sky is the limit.

If you need any help just yell. I’m planning a membership site for later this year – I know how to get newbies up and running on the internet successfully, so quite a bunch of people already want in. In light of this I’m thinking of limiting the numbers until it’s well under way.

Keep in touch John – you’re one of today’s good guys.

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for the tip. It’s amazing how simple this tactic is. I’ll admit, I’m new to Trafficcafe.TV but I plan on visiting every week to get your latest tips.

One question, have you considered, or already do, creating podcasts for your episodes? I’d love to subscribe so I can listen to all your past episodes while I’m offline.

Great stuff and thanks again.
