Great idea Jonathan! I put quite a few of my photos on Flickr so this adds to my arsenal. Flickr gives you the ability to put your photos on the map too! Now I’ll go search for Cowboys, horses, pinups and Airstreams on Flickr.

Susie
If I can find away to help popularise your ‘Airstream’ dream I will. It’s all ‘traffic’ & marketing one way or another.
Although it’s such a dreanboat idea anyway – can’t miss.

Will you have country music in the Airstream? e.g. ‘Baby Blue’ … Willie’s ‘Nightlife’ et al.

Yup, I really love Flickr for a lot of different reasons. Great community, organization of assets, and of course traffic.

I even like the 30-sec video feature, kinda makes sense when you put on your artsy-fartsy had and think about it.

Absolutely brilliant as usual — you use their creative commons licensed photos AND get a link back — what can be better than that :)

Hey Jonathan,

I’ve been around online full time for longer than I like to remember and thought I knew pretty much all the traffic tricks in the book….

Looks like I was wrong then – LOL

Really cool idea and the links that are gained using this technique will be really good links because they not only have SEO benefits but they WILL also bring real traffic to your sites.

Excellent job as always – and true ‘thinking out side of the box’.

Great video Jonathan and some hot tips for people to improve their SEO efforts.

You may want to add how handy it is to tag images as well. Google Images loves them tags ;-)

Excellant idea but a bit harder to do when my niche is senior adults & aging parent issues (life coaching)……..any additional advice to make it work for ’services’ that defy being put in a picture?

Envisaging the dream outcome is one way to visualise this. (Peaceful beach, sense of time and space.)
Nice question…. wish I had more time to think about this and help you.

That’s a very interesting tip that I’ve never heard anywhere else!
As the video was explaining it I was thinking you were going to suggest taking your own photographs and uploading them to the Creative Commons area for other people to use and link to you. If you were half decent at photography this would be an even better way to get your content featured and gain backlinks…
