Business message from the United States President: “The key to traffic and making money online”

by Jonathan on March 16, 2009 in Branding Recent Episodes

TODAY’S 3 MINUTE TV PROGRAM reveals a statement from the United States President, a key formula for driving long-term streams of online traffic and money.

The formula cuts through the internet ’static’, and is the most powerful, no-cost strategy of all.

The formula is found in a speech made by CALVIN COOLIDGE, 30th President of the United States,  entitled “PERSISTENCE.”  The words of Calvin Coolidge have never been so relevant as in today’s business environment:

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
The slogan “press on” has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

THE ONLINE SUCCESS FORMULA:  PERSISTENTLY COMMUNICATING A HIGH VALUE MESSAGE PLUS GIVING HIGH VALUE SERVICE TO  BUILD TRUST.

It all comes down to this: If you keep going and persist at becoming TRUSTED by the market, customers will choose YOU every time to buy from, with virtually no persuasion required. You might consider this an amazingly obvious point, but 99% of the time it is forgotten in the mad scramble for fast money. But it does not take much longer to create the trust factor which eventually produces FAR more revenue.

Here’s the marker posts that race past as you roll out the trust building process:

1.  ‘Static’ - You are background noise that everyone ignores. (‘Get Rich Quick’ fits here.)
2.  Familiarity - Potential customers begin to remember you because you are always there repeating your unique message. They occasionally pay attention to you.
3.  Interesting - Potential customers have learned your message and now pay closer attention. They find your message truly interesting, relevant and valuable.
4.  Trust - You have become so familiar and consistently valuable that people trust your word and your recommendations, and will buy from you.

The bottom line: How to earn trust in a reasonable time frame:

Communicating your message a few times is not enough. PERSISTENCE is the entire solution. Trust online is dollar value capital unique to you.  But you cannot buy trust or fake it. It has to be earned.

Here’s the sequence of actions that build trust quickly:

1. Decide on a product or service perfectly fitted to your niche market this is UNIQUE. (For begInners it could be another marketer’s unique new release.)
2. Decide on a striking, unique high-value message for this product or service,
3. PERSISTENTLY repeat this message in your niche market.
4. Be sure the message is CONSISTENT across all communications.

PERSISTENTLY giving good service and communicating a high value marketing message wins the respect and trust you need to gain long term traffic and earnings.

Ronald … you are appreciated.
Persistence. Yes, I had to relearn that even today – with family matters in fact, not internet marketing. :)

Another Million Dollar Gold Nugget. Jonathan you know how to hit one out of the park. We all need a history lesson and do the things that make sense and work for everyone who uses them. Thanks Lothar

Comment Sniper was a great concept, however what do you do if your particular niche doesn’t have many blogs?

thanks so much

Hi Jeremy

Comment Sniper works beautifully for blogs yes. If there are not any in your niche, then you’d need to see if there’s any other type of regular postings that you could track – and contribute to.

One of the other ways to track these relevant areas you where you might be able to post is by using http://www.google.com/alerts

Check them out: They send you an email every time something new in your niche appears online. (Hourly)

This is just another valuable and intangible lesson of the day. The value of persistence is something that is most likely overlooked by people’s desire to avast money in a faster way they thought of, without ever looking at the long term benefits. Bloggers are the most typical example. Approximately 20,000 blogs appear online everyday, only a few gets traffic and remain. Building trust from readership means providing some valuable posts every now and then.

20,000 blogs a day that then mostly fade away?
Yes… you are correct everybody wants everything RIGHT NOW.
Some people live all their lives searching for RIGHT NOW.

But only persistence and input will do it.

Hello Jonathan,

I love the way you get your message across and could not agree more. I have persistently been leaving comments on the huffington post site and driving traffic to the site of my novel. Lotus Petal. I am intending to make it a best seller.

It works,

Thanks,

Glenn

William: My plan is to broadcast long term in the internet marketing niche, and spread a sense of confidence that it really is possible to succeed online. (It is.) Further more, for my own part, this online TV program is not so much designed to build a mass audience, but is aimed at building my own credibility and brand in the niche.

For the moment there will be no ads down the side of the channel, and direct ’salesy’ pitches of products will not be seen in the programs. Just pure useful information and encouragemt – it is badly needed.

Your comment is appreciated.
